Sunan ibn Majah Translated Into The English Language

Sunan ibn Majah

Sunan Ibn Majah

The last of the six books of hadith is Sunan ibn Majah, which was authored by Imam Muhammad bin Yazid al Qazwini. The book was written during the golden age of hadith recording and gained popularity among the scholars.

Although there were other books that had a higher status in strength and soundness, such as Sunan ad Darimi and Sunan ad Darqutni, they did not gain the popularity as Sunan ibn Majah did. Even this book contains narrations that are weak, but is considered to be a comprehensive and a good collection by scholars.

Like the other five books, Sunan ibn Majah has been translated into English. And like Sunan Abu Dawood and Sunan at Tirmidhee, this has been checked and verified by Shaikh Zubair Ali Zai, a hadith scholar of our era. Our readers can access Sunan ibn Majah from this page.
